MUSHRIK - مشرک

One who attributes a partner or partners to Allah (‘Azza wa jalla). One who is in shirk.

Shirk is to attribute partners to Allah (‘Azza wa jalla). A person who does the attributing is called a Mushrik, and the thing which is attributed is called a Sharik.
