About The Transliteration Of The Arabic - Turkish Terminological Words

The sIgn ^ Is used for the long vowels (madd).

For example:

â = aa  -  aqtâb -  اقطاب

î= ii  -  ‘azîz – عزيز

û=uu  -  wujûb – وجوب

The sIgn  ‘ Is used for the letter of ع

For example:

‘A - ‘a = عَ

‘I - ‘i = عِ

‘U - ‘u = عُ

“th” Is used In place of the letter ث

For example : athîr – أثير

“kh” Is used In place of the letter خ

For example : khawass – خواص

“dh” Is used In place of the letter ظ and ذ

For example : dhulm – ظلم

“gh” Is used In place of the letter غ

For example : ghaflah – غفلة

“q” Is used for ق

For example : quwwa -  قوة

“sh” Is used for ش

For example : shirk - شرك

“ch” Is used for ﭺ - Ç

For example : charshaf – چارشف

“ss” Is used for the letter of ص

For example : khawass – خواص

SOME OF THE WORD’S PLURALS are GIVEN AS THE ORIGINALS IN THE ARABIC, BUT SOME OF THEM are USED WITH THE PLURAL FORMS IN ENGLISH WITH “S”

For example :

nafs-nufûs    ‘âlim-‘ulamâ    aqîdah-aqâid

âyah-âyahs    du’â-du’âs    hikmah-hikmahs

 

Since It Is hard to combIne two languages, we might have many faults needed to be forgIven. May allah ‘azza wa jalla accept thIs work and help us to Improve our Ikhlas.

 

اَللّٰهُمَّ بِحَقِّ سُورَةِ اْلاِخْلاَصِ اِجْعَلْنَا مِنْ عِبَادِكَ الْمُخْلِصِينَ الْمُخْلَصِينَ آمِينَ آمِينَ
